Stupid Question???

What does one have to do to get an icon in the url window of a browser. In case you dont follow, Im talking about something like the blue and yellow "v" that is in the url window on this page.

Most times it is a logo of the website.
But here it is a logo of the script used for the forum from vbulletin.
I will change it to the logo of the website put it's really hard to but a big logo like the one on forum for webmasters in to a small icon.

So whee do you put it in the code so it is on there and what size must the gif be?

No gif it's a .ico and has always the name favicon.ico

No you have to use a .ico creator or editor
